About Me
Barrett Long got into the agricultural business when he moved to Clay Center in 2004 and opened an ag retail business with his wife Stacie. After 10 years of working in direct retail sales within the community Barrett transitioned into a Sales Manager role with AgReliant Genetics managing seed sales in NE Kansas. While at AgReliant, Barrett’s sales teams continually led the region in growth, finishing as a top 3 sales team in the country from 2018-2020.
In 2021 Barrett moved into a new role managing seed sales for Simplot Grower Solutions for eastern Kansas. His experience in agriculture related sales and sales management transition perfectly in being Kansas Land Specialist and agent. In his nearly 20 years in sales, sales management, and retails owner within the ag industry Barret has overseen tens of millions of dollars in transactions and is an industry veteran in agricultural sales.
In addition, Barrett has also management wildlife properties in Kansas and Iowa, setting up habitat and hunting strategies for family, friends and clients.
Personal Life…
Barrett graduated from El Dorado High School in 1996 and Washburn University in 2001. He has been married to his wife Stacie since 2002. They live on a family farm in Clay Center, KS and continue to farm and raise cattle. They have 2 children that are currently in high school, Carter and Brenna. Barrett spends most of his free time coaching sports, hunting, and golfing.
