Luke Dankenbring’s passion for land, wildlife, and the outdoors began at an early age and continues to drive both his personal life and professional career today. Raised in north-central Kansas, Luke developed a deep appreciation for the land through hunting, conservation, and time spent outdoors with family and friends. At just eight years old, he harvested his first Kansas whitetail buck in the mid-160-inch class, an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for deer hunting. Since then, Luke has spent countless hours pursuing mature whitetails, studying wildlife habitat, and learning what makes a property truly exceptional.
In addition to his love for whitetail hunting, Luke grew up turkey hunting and enjoying virtually every aspect of wildlife and outdoor recreation. Waterfowl hunting has become one of his favorite pursuits, and he recently added a new hunting partner, Hank, his waterfowl retriever, who accompanies him in the field whenever possible.
Luke is a graduate of Marysville High School, where he was a standout football player. He continued his athletic career at Highland Community College, earning All-Conference honors. He later played at Missouri Western before completing his collegiate football career under a former coach at Kansas Wesleyan University. Through athletics, Luke developed the discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive that now benefit his real estate clients.
As a Land Specialist with Midwest Land & Home, Luke focuses exclusively on land transactions throughout Kansas. Whether assisting buyers and sellers with recreational hunting properties, productive cropland, pasture and ranchland, or investment tracts, Luke brings firsthand knowledge of land ownership, wildlife management, and agricultural properties. His passion for the outdoors, combined with his commitment to serving clients, allows him to help buyers and sellers achieve their goals while ensuring they receive knowledgeable, professional representation throughout the process.
For Luke, land is more than real estate…it’s a way of life.
