About Me

Jeff grew up in rural Washington County Kansas on his family’s farm. With his parents and grandparents being involved in farming and livestock he learned valuable lessons about cropland and pastureland at a young age. Jeff graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Marketing. After college he spent several years excelling in sales and sales management earning National Sales Manager of The Year in 2000 for a multi-national industrial supplier, State Industrial Products, based in Cleveland, OH. After the events on 9/11 Jeff decided he wanted to spend more time at home since he and his wife’s son, Lucas, had been born just 3 weeks prior, so in early 2002 he and his wife purchased a business in Marysville, KS and over the next few years they more than doubled the annual revenue and in 2012 when buyers wanted to capitalize on their efforts, they sold that business.  In 2010 Jeff started Blue River Innovation.  Blue River Innovations designed, manufactured, and sold products in the hunting industry in large national retailers such as Cabelas, Bass Pro, Scheels, Amazon, and many other retailers throughout North America. This tied right in with Jeff’s passion for the outdoors and hunting.  In March of 2013, Jeff received his real estate license and shortly thereafter listed his first recreational property that sold for nearly $2,000,000.00.  Since that time Jeff has been involved in the sale of nearly 50,000 +/- acres of Land in Kansas and Nebraska. In January 2016 Jeff earned his broker’s license and shortly after became a partner in Midwest Land and Home. In July 2017, Blue River Innovations was sold allowing Jeff to focus ALL his efforts on Selling Land. Jeff’s life passions are his wife and kids, hunting, and the outdoors in general. Jeff is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Kansas and Nebraska and specializes in Agricultural and Recreation properties.
